# Patrick Wakula

Patrick Wakula[1] is an [Anglican](/source/Anglican) [bishop](/source/Bishop) in [Uganda](/source/Anglican_Church_of_Uganda):[2] he has been [Bishop of Central Busoga](/source/Anglican_dioceses_of_Eastern_Uganda) since 2016.[3]

Wakula was educated at [Makerere University](/source/Makerere_University). He was [ordained](/source/Ordained) a [deacon](/source/Deacon) in 1995 and a [priest](/source/Priest) in 1997. He served in [Kamuli District](/source/Kamuli_District). Later he was [Archdeacon](/source/Archdeacon) of [Kaliro](/source/Kaliro) then [Jinja](/source/Jinja,_Uganda). Wakula was consecrated and enthroned as Bishop on 13 November 2016 at All Saints’ Pro-Cathedral, Iganga.[4]
