As a player he was part of the French team, that won the [1995 World Championship](/source/1995_World_Men's_Handball_Championship); the first time ever France won a major international tournament. ==Career==
Cazal started playing handball at Château-Morange on [Réunion](/source/R%C3%A9union), before joining [Paris-Asnières](/source/Paris_Saint-Germain_Handball) in 1989. He debuted for the [French national team](/source/France_men's_national_handball_team) on November 2nd, 1994 against Switzerland.<ref name=HA50 />

In 1999 he joined Spanish [Bidasoa Irún](/source/Bidasoa_Ir%C3%BAn) in the top league, [Liga ASOBAL](/source/Liga_ASOBAL). In 2002 he joined German [Bundesliga](/source/Handball-Bundesliga) team [TUSEM Essen](/source/TUSEM_Essen). Here he won the 2005 [EHF Cup](/source/EHF_Cup). In 2005 he returned to France and joined [Dunkerque HGL](/source/Dunkerque_Handball_Grand_Littoral). He retired in 2008, and became the assistant coach at [Dunkerque](/source/Dunkerque_Handball_Grand_Littoral). 

==Coaching career==
