The '''Passeier Valley''' ({{langx|de|Passeier}} or {{lang|de|Passeiertal}} {{IPA|de|paˈsaɪ̯ɐ|}}; {{langx|it|Passiria or Val Passiria}} {{IPA|it|pasˈsiːrja|}}) is the valley of the [Passer](/source/Passer_(river)) river, in the mountains of [South Tyrol](/source/South_Tyrol), northern [Italy](/source/Italy). The Passer river is a left-bank tributary to the [Adige](/source/Adige). At the mouth of the valley, where the two rivers join, stands the town of [Merano](/source/Merano). From there, the valley runs north to the [Timmelsjoch](/source/Timmelsjoch) mountain pass, which leads to [Sölden](/source/S%C3%B6lden) in the [Ötztal](/source/%C3%96tztal) valley of [Austria](/source/Austria) and to the [Jaufenpass](/source/Jaufenpass) which leads to [Sterzing](/source/Sterzing) in the [Wipptal](/source/Wipptal).

The following municipalities are located in the valley: [Kuens](/source/Kuens), [Riffian](/source/Riffian%2C_South_Tyrol), [St. Martin in Passeier](/source/St._Martin_in_Passeier), [St. Leonhard in Passeier](/source/St._Leonhard_in_Passeier) and [Moos in Passeier](/source/Moos_in_Passeier). The population of the valley speak German.
