==Playing career==
A native of [Edmonton](/source/Edmonton), Foo began his [junior hockey](/source/junior_hockey) career in the [Alberta Junior Hockey League](/source/Alberta_Junior_Hockey_League) (AJHL) in 2015 with the [Bonnyville Pontiacs](/source/Bonnyville_Pontiacs), and later with the [Brooks Bandits](/source/Brooks_Bandits).

From 2017 to 2020 he played for the [Union Dutchmen](/source/Union_Garnet_Chargers_men's_ice_hockey) of the [NCAA](/source/NCAA_Men's_Ice_Hockey_Championship)'s [ECAC Hockey](/source/ECAC_Hockey) conference.

In 2020 he joined his brother [Spencer Foo](/source/Spencer_Foo) at [Kunlun Red Star](/source/Kunlun_Red_Star) of the KHL.

In the 2025–26 season, he remained on the team as the Kunlun Red Star became the [Shanghai Dragons](/source/Shanghai_Dragons_(ice_hockey)).
