The **6th constituency of Paris** ([French](/source/French_language): *Sixième circonscription de Paris*) is a French legislative [constituency](/source/Constituency_(France)) in the [department](/source/Departments_of_France) of [Paris](/source/Paris). Like the other 576 French constituencies, it elects one member of the [National Assembly](/source/National_Assembly_(France)) using the [two-round system](/source/Two-round_system). Its boundaries were heavily redrawn in [1988](/source/1986_redistricting_of_French_legislative_constituencies) and [2012](/source/2010_redistricting_of_French_legislative_constituencies). It was the constituency of [Maurice Couve de Murville](/source/Maurice_Couve_de_Murville), who served as [Prime Minister of France](/source/Prime_Minister_of_France) from 1968 to 1969 under President [Charles de Gaulle](/source/Charles_de_Gaulle). In the [2022 legislative election](/source/2022_French_legislative_election), [Sophia Chikirou](/source/Sophia_Chikirou) of [La France Insoumise](/source/La_France_Insoumise) (LFI) was elected.
