# Paratecoma

***Paratecoma*** is a [monotypic](/source/Monotypic_taxon) [genus](/source/Genus) of [flowering plants](/source/Flowering_plant) belonging to the family [Bignoniaceae](/source/Bignoniaceae).[1] The sole species is ***Paratecoma peroba***.[1]

Its native range is Southeastern Brazil in the wet tropical biome.[1]
