# Parasi, Nepal

**Parasi** is a place in [Ramgram, Nepal](/source/Ramgram,_Nepal) [Municipality](/source/Municipality) in [Parasi District](/source/Parasi_District) in the [Lumbini Province](/source/Lumbini_Province) of southern [Nepal](/source/Nepal). At the time of the [1991 Nepal census](/source/1991_Nepal_census), it had a population of 7281 people living in 1320 individual households.[1]

Parasi is in the [Terai](/source/Terai) region and borders India to the south. [Ramgrama stupa](/source/Ramagrama_stupa) and Palhi temple are famous religious place in Parasi.
