'''Panticeu''' ({{langx|hu|Páncélcseh}}; {{langx|de|Böhmischhofen}}) is a commune in the northern part of [Cluj County](/source/Cluj_County), [Transylvania](/source/Transylvania), [Romania](/source/Romania). It is composed of five villages: Cătălina (''Szentkatolnadorna''), Cubleșu Someșan (''Magyarköblös''), Dârja (''Magyarderzse''), Panticeu, and Sărata (''Szótelke'').

== Demographics ==
According to the [census from 2002](/source/Demographics_of_Romania) there was a total population of 2,001 people living in this commune, of which 85.25% were ethnic [Romanians](/source/Romanians), 10.49% ethnic [Roma](/source/Romani_people_in_Romania), and 4.19% [Hungarians](/source/Hungarians_in_Romania).<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.edrc.ro/recensamant.jsp?regiune_id=2140&judet_id=2295&localitate_id=2354|title = Structura Etno-demografică a României}}</ref> At the [2011 census](/source/2011_Romanian_census), there were 1,844 inhabitants; of those, 77.01% were Romanians, 13.12% Roma, and 3.69% Hungarians.
