# Pangmi

**Pangmi** (my-latn: *Pinhmi*) was a [Shan](/source/Shan_people) state in the [Myelat](/source/Myelat) region of what is today [Burma](/source/Burma). It was very small, having an area of only 29 sq mi (75 km2), and was almost entirely enclosed by [Hsamonghkam](/source/Hsamonghkam). Its population was mostly [Danu](/source/Danu_people) and [Pa-O](/source/Pa'O_people).
