**Pallavi Chatterjee** (born 30 October 1965) is an Indian actress[6] and producer who is known for her works in [Bengali Film Industry](/source/Cinema_of_West_Bengal).[7][8] She is best known for her role as Brinda in [Rituparno Ghosh](/source/Rituparno_Ghosh)'s *[Dosar](/source/Dosar)* (2006).[9] She is the recipient of Kalakar Awards for two times.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

Born to actor [Biswajit Chatterjee](/source/Biswajit_Chatterjee), Chatterjee made her acting debut opposite Arindam Ganguly.[10] Her first big screen venture was [Sujit Guha](/source/Sujit_Guha)'s *[Amar Prem](/source/Amar_Prem_(1989_film))* in 1989 that stars her brother [Prosenjit Chatterjee](/source/Prosenjit_Chatterjee) and [Juhi Chawla](/source/Juhi_Chawla) as the protagonists.[11] She made her [Bollywood](/source/Bollywood) debut with Vinod Talwar's *Teri Talash Mein* (1990).[12]
