The **Palestinian National Salvation Front** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): جبهة الانقاذ الوطني الفلسطيني) (**PNSF**) was a coalition of [Palestinian](/source/Palestinian_people) factions. The creation of the Palestinian National Salvation Front was announced on March 25, 1985, by Khalid al-Fahum.[1] The front consisted of the [PFLP](/source/Popular_Front_for_the_Liberation_of_Palestine), [PFLP-GC](/source/PFLP-GC), [as-Sa'iqa](/source/As-Sa'iqa), the [Palestinian Popular Struggle Front](/source/Palestinian_Popular_Struggle_Front), the [Palestinian Liberation Front](/source/Palestinian_Liberation_Front_(Abu_Nidal_Ashqar_wing)) (Talat Yaqub wing) and [Fatah al-Intifada](/source/Fatah_al-Intifada).[2][3] The Front was founded in reaction to the [Amman Accord](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Amman_Accord&action=edit&redlink=1) between [Yasser Arafat](/source/Yasser_Arafat) and [King Hussein](/source/King_Hussein) of [Jordan](/source/Jordan).[4]

The Palestinian National Salvation Front accused the [PLO](/source/PLO) leadership of "surrenderism". It was stressed on behalf of the Front that it was not seeking to replace the PLO, but that its foundation was a temporary measure.[2]

During the [War of the Camps](/source/War_of_the_Camps) the PNSF had its headquarters in [Mar Elias](/source/Mar_Elias_refugee_camp) refugee camp, which was not one of the camps under siege by [Amal](/source/Amal_Militia). [5]

In 1991, the PLO invited the Palestinian National Salvation Front to [Tunis](/source/Tunis) for reconciliation talks.[6]
