{{Short description|Figure in William Blake's mythology}}
'''Palamabron''' is a character in [William Blake's mythology](/source/William_Blake's_mythology), representing pity. He is the second son of [Enitharmon](/source/Enitharmon) and [Los](/source/Los_(Blake)), and the brother of [Rintrah](/source/Rintrah), [Bromion](/source/Bromion), and [Theotormon](/source/Theotormon). In particular, he often appears as a counterpart to Rintrah - whereas Rintrah represents anger against oppression, Palambron represents sympathy with the oppressed. In ''[Milton](/source/Milton%3A_A_Poem_in_Two_Books)'', he plays the role of Blake himself in his conflict with Satan.<ref>{{Cite book |last=Damon |first=S.
