A coin of Pakor II

**Pakor II** (or **Pakur II**, [Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): **Pakoros**) was the [king of Persis](/source/King_of_Persis) under [Parthian suzerainty](/source/Parthian_Empire) in the first half of the first century AD.[1] He was the son of [Wahshir](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wahshir&action=edit&redlink=1) and successor of [Pakor I](/source/Pakor_I).[1] He was the first Persid ruler to put his name on the obverse of his coins, some of which show a three-pointed star on the reverse, the meaning of which is unclear.[2]
