**Pabna-2** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh).

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses [Sujanagar Upazila](/source/Sujanagar_Upazila) and [Bera Upazila](/source/Bera_Upazila).[2][3][4]

## History

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.

Ahead of the [2026 general election](/source/2026_Bangladeshi_general_election), the Election Commission decided to expand the boundaries of the constituency to include Bera Municipality, and four union parishads of Bera Upazila: Chakla, Haturia Nakalia, Kytola, and Nutan Bharenga.[5]

Ahmed Tafiz Uddin died in June 1998. [Abdul Karim Khandker](/source/A._K._Khandker) of the Awami League was elected in a by-election.[14]
