**Pabna-1** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh). The current [Member of Parliament](/source/Member_of_Parliament) in this constituency is [Nazibur Rahman Momen](/source/Nazibur_Rahman_Momen).

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses the [Santhia Upazila](/source/Santhia_Upazila).[2][3][4]

## History

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.

Ahead of the [2026 general election](/source/2026_Bangladeshi_general_election), the Election Commission decided to reduce the boundaries of the constituency to exclude Bera Municipality, and four union parishads of Bera Upazila: Chakla, Haturia Nakalia, Kytola, and Nutan Bharenga.[5]
