Pablo Andrés Kast Sommerhoff was born on August 24, 1973, in [Chicago](/source/Chicago), [United States](/source/United_States). He is the brother of Senator [Felipe Kast](/source/Felipe_Kast), Deputy [Tomás Kast](/source/Tom%C3%A1s_Kast), and Bárbara Kast Sommerhoff, former city councilor of [Paine](/source/Paine%2C_Chile) (2012–2021). He is also the nephew of former deputy and former presidential candidate [José Antonio Kast](/source/Jos%C3%A9_Antonio_Kast). He is the stepson of Javier Etcheberry, former Minister of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunications (2002–2004).
