# Outrup

**Outrup** (or **Ovtrup**) is a town in [Varde Municipality](/source/Varde_Municipality) in the [Region of Southern Denmark](/source/Region_of_Southern_Denmark). The town has a population of 994 (1 January 2025).[1][\[1\]](https://www.citypopulation.de/en/denmark/syddanmark/varde/18412__outrup/)

## Sport

[Region Varde Elitesport](/source/Region_Varde_Elitesport) formerly the Outrup Speedway Club is a [motorcycle speedway](/source/Motorcycle_speedway) club southwest of Outrup, at the [Outrup Speedway Center](/source/Outrup_Speedway_Center), Hennevej 35. They compete in the [Danish Speedway League](/source/Danish_Speedway_League).[2][3]
