**Oumar Mickaël Solet Bomawoko** (born 7 February 2000) is a French professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [centre-back](/source/Centre-back) for [Serie A](/source/Serie_A) club [Udinese](/source/Udinese_Calcio).[3]

## Club career

### Laval

Solet developed through the [Laval](/source/Stade_Lavallois) academy. He made his debut on 4 August 2017 in the [Championnat National](/source/Championnat_National) against [US Concarneau](/source/US_Concarneau). He played the full 90 minutes in a 1–0 away victory.[4]

### Lyon

On 22 January 2018, Solet joined [Lyon](/source/Olympique_Lyonnais) on loan from Laval for €550,000, with an option to make the move permanent for an additional €550,000, up to €2 million in bonuses and 20% of the profits from his next sale.[5]

### RB Salzburg

On 17 July 2020, Solet joined [Red Bull Salzburg](/source/FC_Red_Bull_Salzburg) for €4.5 million, up to €4 million in bonuses, and 15% of any future sale.[3] On September 14, 2024, his contract with the club was terminated by mutual agreement.[6]

### Udinese

On 1 October 2024, Solet signed a pre-contract with Italian club [Udinese](/source/Udinese_Calcio) that stated he would join the club on 1 January 2025.[7] On 4 January, Solet made his debut for the club in a 0–0 draw away to [Hellas Verona](/source/Hellas_Verona_FC).[8]

## International career

Solet was born in France and is of Ivorian and Central African descent.[9][10] Solet was part of the [France U-17 FIFA World Cup squad](/source/2017_FIFA_U-17_World_Cup_squads#France) in 2017.[11]
