# Othippiini

**Othippiini** is a tribe of true weevils in the [beetle](/source/Beetle) family [Curculionidae](/source/Curculionidae). Of the eight genera in Othippiini, only *[Egiona](/source/Egiona)* and *[Othippia](/source/Othippia)* are not monotypic. *[Acoptus suturalis](/source/Acoptus)* is the only species of the tribe found in the [New World](/source/New_World).[1][2]
