**Ormideia** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Ορμήδεια, pronounced [\[orˈmiðja\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Greek), locally [\[oˈrmiθca\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Greek)), sometimes also spelled *Ormidhia*, is a village in [Larnaca District](/source/Larnaca_District) in south-eastern Cyprus. It is one of the four [exclaves](/source/Cyprus#Exclaves_and_enclaves) surrounded by the [Eastern Sovereign Base Area](/source/Eastern_Sovereign_Base_Area) of [Akrotiri and Dhekelia](/source/Akrotiri_and_Dhekelia), a [British Overseas Territory](/source/British_Overseas_Territory) administered as a [Sovereign Base Area](/source/Sovereign_Base_Area). The others are the village of [Xylotymbou](/source/Xylotymbou) and two separate parts of [Dhekelia Power Station](/source/Dhekelia_Power_Station). It is administered by the [Republic of Cyprus](/source/Republic_of_Cyprus). Its population in 2011 was 4,189.

Archaeological objects found in the village are displayed at various museums. A [stele](/source/Stele) with the "syllabic funerary inscription *Panroses*" is on display at the [Larnaca District Archaeological Museum](/source/Larnaca_District_Archaeological_Museum).[2]
