***Open Surgery*** is the third full-length album by [Israeli](/source/Israel) [punk rock](/source/Punk_rock) band [Man Alive](/source/Man_Alive_(band)), released on September 6, 2005. It was the band's breakthrough album, released worldwide by [the Militia Group](/source/The_Militia_Group) label, and produced by longtime [the Get Up Kids](/source/The_Get_Up_Kids) producer [Ed Rose](/source/Ed_Rose), recorded at his own studio Black Lodge Recording in [Eudora, KS](/source/Eudora,_KS), in June 2004.
