**Okse Bay** is an [Arctic](/source/Arctic) waterway in the [Qikiqtaaluk Region](/source/Qikiqtaaluk_Region), [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada. It is located in [Norwegian Bay](/source/Norwegian_Bay) by southwestern [Ellesmere Island](/source/Ellesmere_Island), east of [Buckingham Island](/source/Buckingham_Island).

## Geology

The thick series of [strata](/source/Stratum) at Okse Bay, characterized by [sandstones](/source/Sandstone), [mudstones](/source/Mudstone), and [shale](/source/Shale), are referred to as the [Okse Bay Formation](/source/Okse_Bay_Formation).[2]
