'''Oi''' (''Oy, Oey'';<ref>{{cite web|url=http://sealang.net/sala/mk-class.htm|title=Mon-Khmer Classification (draft)|access-date=24 June 2016}}</ref> also known as '''The''', '''Thang Ong''', '''Sok''') is an [Austroasiatic](/source/Austroasiatic_languages) [dialect cluster](/source/dialect_cluster) of [Attapeu Province](/source/Attapeu_Province), southern [Laos](/source/Laos). The dominant variety is Oy proper, with 11,000 speakers who are 80% monolinguals. The Jeng (Cheng) speak the same language but are ethnically distinct (Sidwell 2003). Speakers follow traditional religions.<ref name=e18/>
