'''''Ohilimia''''' is a [spider](/source/spider) [genus](/source/genus) of the jumping spider family, [Salticidae](/source/Salticidae).<ref name=WSC_g2826/>

==Description==
''Ohilimia albomaculata'' reaches a body length of 7 to 8 mm, while ''O. scutellata'' is 5 to 7 mm long. The [cephalothorax](/source/cephalothorax) of ''O. albomaculata'' is densely covered with short hairs, ''O. scutellata'' is only sparsely covered.
The sexes are similar, with males having distinctive shiny [scuta](/source/Scute).
The first, elongated pair of legs is held in a [mantis](/source/mantis)-like manner. It seems that ''Ohilimia'' mimic [flies](/source/fly) in reverse: their first legs are held like the wings of a fly, and they move backwards.<ref>Davies & Żabka 1989</ref>

==Relationships==
''Ohilimia'' is probably closely related to ''[Diolenius](/source/Diolenius)'' and ''[Chalcolecta](/source/Chalcolecta)'', which also have elongated front legs.

==Distribution==
''Ohilimia'' only occurs in [rainforest](/source/rainforest)s of the northeastern [Cape York Peninsula](/source/Cape_York_Peninsula) of [Australia](/source/Australia), [New Guinea](/source/New_Guinea) and the [Moluccas](/source/Moluccas) islands [Ternate](/source/Ternate) and [Kai](/source/Kai_Islands). The current distribution seems to be due to past land bridges.

==Species==
{{As of|2017|04}}, the [World Spider Catalog](/source/World_Spider_Catalog) accepted the following species:<ref name=WSC_g2826/>
