**Ohev Sholom Temple**, now known as **B'Nai Sholom Congregation**, is a historic [synagogue](/source/Synagogue) located at 949 10th Avenue, in [Huntington](/source/Huntington%2C_West_Virginia), [Cabell County](/source/Cabell_County%2C_West_Virginia), [West Virginia](/source/West_Virginia), in the United States.

Designed by the [Charleston](/source/Charleston%2C_West_Virginia) architectural firm of [Meanor & Handloser](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Meanor_%26_Handloser&action=edit&redlink=1) in an [eclectic](/source/Eclecticism_in_architecture), [historicizing](/source/Historicism_(art)) style that combined [Neo-Romanesque](/source/Romanesque_Revival_architecture) and [Neo-Byzantine](/source/Neo-Byzantine_architecture) features, it was built in 1925 for Congregation Ohev Shalom, which had formed in 1887. In 1978 B'Nai Sholom Congregation was formed by the merger of Ohev Shalom and B’nai Israel, an [Orthodox](/source/Orthodox_Judaism) synagogue which had been formed in 1910. On March 17, 1994, the building was added to the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places). B'Nai Sholom continues today as an active congregation affiliated with both the [Reform](/source/Reform_Judaism) and [Conservative](/source/Conservative_Judaism) [streams](/source/Jewish_denominations) of Judaism.[2][3][4]
