**Ofentse Nato** (born 1 October 1989) is a [Botswana](/source/Botswana) professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defensive midfielder](/source/Defensive_midfielder) for [Botswana Premier League](/source/Botswana_Premier_League) club [Extension Gunners](/source/Extension_Gunners_FC) and the [Botswana national team](/source/Botswana_national_football_team).

## Club career

He began his professional career at a Botswana local team [Gaborone United](/source/Gaborone_United). After spending four years at the club, he joined South African club [Bidvest Wits](/source/Wits_University_F.C.) in July 2012 on a two-year deal. Nato joined [Mpumalanga Black Aces](/source/Mpumalanga_Black_Aces_F.C.) on loan for the [2013–14](/source/2013%E2%80%9314_South_African_Premier_Division) PSL season.[1]

In 2014 it was announced that he would be loaned to the Spanish capital, where he will join the defending Spanish champions on a two-year loan deal. However, he would be loaned to Madrid's satellite club in the [Indian Super League](/source/Indian_Super_League), [Atletico de Kolkata](/source/Atletico_de_Kolkata), for a 12-week period on his arrival, where he will be under the guidance of former Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns coach, [Antonio Lopez Habas](/source/Antonio_Lopez_Habas).[2]
