As an actor, he is remembered for roles such as the intolerable daddy's boy and shipowner Rieber-Larsen Jr. in ''[Operasjon Løvsprett](/source/Operasjon_L%C3%B8vsprett)'', as a naval commander in ''[Operasjon Sjøsprøyt](/source/Operasjon_Sj%C3%B8spr%C3%B8yt)'', and the male lead role in ''[Støv på hjernen](/source/St%C3%B8v_p%C3%A5_hjernen_(1959_film))''. The same year he died, he starred in the next to last [Stompa](/source/Jennings_(novel_series)) film, ''[Stompa forelsker seg](/source/Stompa_forelsker_seg)''.
