# Obinna Chidoka

**Rt. Hon. Obinna Chidoka** (born January 7, 1974) is an [indigene](/source/Indigenous_peoples) of [Obosi](/source/Obosi), Idemili North Local Government Area of [Anambra State](/source/Anambra_State), [Nigeria](/source/Nigeria). He is a [sociology](/source/Sociology) graduate of the [University of Lagos](/source/University_of_Lagos) and a former member of the [House of Representatives](/source/House_of_Representatives_(Nigeria)), representing [Idemili North](/source/Idemili_North) and [Idemili South](/source/Idemili_South) Federal Constituency[1] in the 8th [Nigerian National Assembly](/source/National_Assembly_(Nigeria)).[2] He was the Chairman of the House Committee on Environment and Habitat.[3]

In addition to being the chairman of the House Committee on Environment and Habitat, he is a member of the House Committees on [Aviation](/source/Aviation),[4] Constituency Outreach, Industry, Petroleum (Downstream),[5] Youth and Social Development, Culture & Tourism, and Local Content in the 8th Assembly.[6]
