Built in 1930, the building served as the head offices of the [Overseas Union Bank](/source/Overseas_Union_Bank_Limited), [Overseas Union Insurance](/source/Overseas_Union_Insurance) and the [Overseas Assurance Corporation](/source/Great_Eastern_General_Insurance).
