# Notograptus

***Notograptus*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of marine fish in subclass [Actinopterygii](/source/Actinopterygii) and order [Perciformes](/source/Perciformes). They are sometimes placed in the [monotypic family](/source/Monotypic_taxon) **Notograptidae**, or may instead be included in the family [Plesiopidae](/source/Plesiopidae).[1][2] *Notograptus* supposedly bears a relationship with *[Acanthoplesiops](/source/Acanthoplesiops)*.[3]
