**North Dome** is a [granite dome](/source/Granite_dome) in [Yosemite National Park](/source/Yosemite_National_Park), [California](/source/California). It is the southernmost summit of [Indian Ridge](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Indian_Ridge_(Yosemite)&action=edit&redlink=1), 0.6 miles (1.0 km) north of [Washington Column](/source/Washington_Column) and the [Royal Arches](/source/Royal_Arches_(Yosemite)) on the northeastern wall of [Yosemite Valley](/source/Yosemite_Valley). It can be reached by [trail](/source/Trail) from the [Tioga Pass Road](/source/Tioga_Pass_Road), or by going up the [Yosemite Falls](/source/Yosemite_Falls) trail and heading east. It can also be reached from [Mirror Lakes](/source/Mirror_Lake_(California)) by the [Snow Creek Falls](/source/Snow_Creek_Falls) trail going north around [Indian Rock](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Indian_Rock_(California)&action=edit&redlink=1) and then south again on the Tioga Pass Road trail. The South Face is precipitous.[3]
