# Nordheide

The **Nordheide** (ˈnɔʁthaɪdə, lit. 'North Heath') is the northernmost part of the [Lüneburg Heath](/source/L%C3%BCneburg_Heath) in Germany. It runs from the [Harburg Hills](/source/Harburg_Hills) to the municipality of [Handeloh](/source/Handeloh). South of that lies the [Lüneburg Heath Nature Park](/source/L%C3%BCneburg_Heath_Nature_Park) and the **Südheide** with the [Südheide Nature Park](/source/S%C3%BCdheide_Nature_Park). The highest point on the Nordheide is the [Brunsberg](/source/Brunsberg_(Harburg)) near [Buchholz in der Nordheide](/source/Buchholz_in_der_Nordheide) which has a height of 129.5 metres (425 ft).
