# Nomenia

***Nomenia*** is a genus of [moths](/source/Moth) in the family [Geometridae](/source/Geometridae) erected by Richard F. Pearsall in 1905.[1] The genus was previously treated as a junior synonym of *[Venusia](/source/Venusia_(moth))*, but then later restored as valid.[2][3]
