**Noah Mbamba-Muanda** (born 5 January 2005) is a Belgian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [defensive midfielder](/source/Defensive_midfielder) and [centre-back](/source/Centre-back) for [Belgian Pro League](/source/Belgian_Pro_League) club [Dender](/source/F.C.V._Dender_E.H.), on loan from [Bundesliga](/source/Bundesliga) club [Bayer Leverkusen](/source/Bayer_04_Leverkusen).

## Club career

On 22 January 2021, Mbamba made his debut for [Club Brugge](/source/Club_Brugge_KV)'s reserve side, [Club NXT](/source/Club_NXT) in the [Belgian First Division B](/source/Belgian_First_Division_B) against [Lierse](/source/Lierse_S.K._(1906)).[1]

He made his league debut for the senior squad of Brugge in the [Belgian First Division A](/source/Belgian_First_Division_A) on 23 May 2021, when he started in the game against [Genk](/source/K.R.C._Genk), at the age of 16.[2] He made his Champions league debut on 3 November 2021 against Manchester City at the age of 16.

On 14 January 2023, Mbamba joined German club [Bayer Leverkusen](/source/Bayer_04_Leverkusen) for an undisclosed fee, signing a contract until June 2028.[3][4]

On 19 June 2024, Mbamba joined [Fortuna Düsseldorf](/source/Fortuna_D%C3%BCsseldorf) on loan for the 2024–25 season.[5] On 4 February 2025, he returned to Belgium on a new loan to [Dender](/source/F.C.V._Dender_E.H.).[6] On 9 April 2025, the loan to Dender was extended for the 2025–26 season.[7]

Born in Belgium, Mbamba is of Congolese descent. He is a youth international for Belgium.[8]
