# Nils Olsson

**Nils Olsson** (March 10, 1891 – September 21, 1951) was a [Swedish](/source/Sweden) [architect](/source/Architecture).[1][2]

## Biography

Nils Olsson was born at [Halmstad](/source/Halmstad) in [Halland](/source/Halland), Sweden. He studied at the Technical Elementary School in [Malmö](/source/Malm%C3%B6) and then at [Technical University of Munich](/source/Technical_University_of_Munich) 1908–1913. He worked in [Gothenburg](/source/Gothenburg) from the 1920s until his death in 1951. He won a bronze medal in the art competitions of the [1948 Summer Olympics](/source/1948_Summer_Olympics) for designing the [Valhalla Swimming Hall](/source/Valhalla_Swimming_Hall) (*Valhallabadet*) at Gothenburg.[3][4]
