**Nickenson Stephan Paul** (born 25 August 1997) is an [Aruban](/source/Aruba) footballer who plays as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for [Dakota](/source/SV_Dakota) and the [Aruba national football team](/source/Aruba_national_football_team).[2]

## Career

### Club career

Paul started his career with [Dakota](/source/SV_Dakota) in 2015, where he helped the club to win the [Aruban Division di Honor](/source/Aruban_Division_di_Honor) twice in [2018](/source/2017%E2%80%9318_Aruban_Division_di_Honor) and [2022](/source/2021%E2%80%9322_Aruban_Division_di_Honor). In 2017, Paul traveled to Belgium to take part in an 11-day trial with [RKC Waalwijk](/source/RKC_Waalwijk).[3] The following year, he was nominated by the [Aruba Football Federation](/source/Aruba_Football_Federation) to attend the [MLS](/source/Major_League_Soccer) Caribbean Combine.[4]

He transferred to [AO Poros](/source/AO_Poros_F.C.) in 2022.[5] In [2023](/source/2022%E2%80%9323_Aruban_Division_di_Honor) he played with Dakota in the [Aruban Division di Honor](/source/Aruban_Division_di_Honor) and in the [2023 CONCACAF Caribbean Shield](/source/2023_CONCACAF_Caribbean_Shield).

### International career

Paul made his senior international debut on 30 March 2014, coming on as an 89th-minute substitute for [Denzel Dumfries](/source/Denzel_Dumfries) in a 2–0 friendly victory over [Guam](/source/Guam_national_football_team).[6]
