Stabile played Gabe Capshaw on the show, ''[Saints and Sinners](/source/Saints_%26_Sinners_(2007_TV_series))''. He is well known for playing the role of Jesse ([Katherine Heigl](/source/Katherine_Heigl)'s on-screen boyfriend) in the slasher film ''[Bride of Chucky](/source/Bride_of_Chucky)''. He also played [Mark Wolper](/source/List_of_Sunset_Beach_characters) on the now-defunct [NBC](/source/NBC) soap ''[Sunset Beach](/source/Sunset_Beach_(TV_series))'' from the show's premiere in January 1997 until January 1998 when his character was killed off. In 2000, Stabile took on the role of [Dennis Wilson](/source/Dennis_Wilson) in ''[The Beach Boys: An American Family](/source/The_Beach_Boys%3A_An_American_Family)''.  He played the lead role in ''[Santa, Jr.](/source/Santa%2C_Jr.)'', a film released in 2002.  Stabile also portrayed the role of Nicholas Foxworth "Fox" Crane on another NBC soap, ''[Passions](/source/Passions)'' on a temporary basis from August to September 2004. During this time, [Justin Hartley](/source/Justin_Hartley) (the original Fox) was on paternity leave with wife [Lindsay Hartley](/source/Lindsay_Hartley).

He then played Dean Hartman on ''[Days of Our Lives](/source/Days_of_Our_Lives)'' from June 2009 to September 2009.
