At the [2006 Central American and Caribbean Games](/source/Swimming_at_the_2006_Central_American_and_Caribbean_Games), he set the [Games Records](/source/List_of_Central_American_and_Caribbean_Games_records_in_swimming) in the 200 backstroke (2:00.85), bettering the 2:01.53 swum by Cuba's [Neisser Bent](/source/Neisser_Bent) at the 1998 Games in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Neckles time also set the Barbadian Record.
