Educated at [Oakham School](/source/Oakham_School) and the [University of Oxford](/source/University_of_Oxford), Ferraby represented the [Leicestershire Cricket Board](/source/Leicestershire_Cricket_Board) in 2 [List A](/source/List_A_cricket) matches against [Denmark](/source/Denmark_national_cricket_team) in the 1st round of the [2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy](/source/2003_Cheltenham_%26_Gloucester_Trophy), and the [Kent Cricket Board](/source/Kent_Cricket_Board) in the 2nd round of the same competition.
