The **New Independent Party** is an Egyptian political party that is made up of former members of the [National Democratic Party](/source/National_Democratic_Party_(Egypt)).[3]

The party ran in the [2011–2012 Egyptian parliamentary election](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Egyptian_parliamentary_election).[4]

It was formerly part of the [Social Justice Coalition](/source/Social_Justice_Coalition_(2014)),[5] though it later joined the [Call of Egypt](/source/Call_of_Egypt) alliance.[2]
