# Neville Cole

**Neville Cole** (19 June 1952 – 31 March 2009) was an Irish [boxer](/source/Boxing). He competed in the [men's lightweight](/source/Boxing_at_the_1972_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Lightweight) event at the [1972 Summer Olympics](/source/1972_Summer_Olympics), representing Great Britain.[1][2]

Cole won the 1970 and 1972 [Amateur Boxing Association](/source/England_Boxing) British [lightweight titles](/source/England_Boxing_National_Amateur_Championships_Lightweight_Champions) and the 1973 [light-welterweight title](/source/England_Boxing_National_Amateur_Championships_Light-Welterweight_Champions), when boxing out of the Fitzroy Lodge ABC.[3]
