# Net River (Minnesota)

The **Net River** is a 24.5-mile (39.4-kilometre)[1] tributary of the South Fork [Nemadji River](/source/Nemadji_River) in [Pine](/source/Pine_County,_Minnesota) and [Carlton](/source/Carlton_County,_Minnesota) counties, [Minnesota](/source/Minnesota), United States.[2] Via the Nemadji River, it flows to [Lake Superior](/source/Lake_Superior) at [Superior, Wisconsin](/source/Superior,_Wisconsin).

"Net River" is probably an English translation of the [Ojibwe-language](/source/Ojibwe_language) name.[3]
