**Neoi Poroi** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Νέοι Πόροι [\[ˈnei ˈpoɾi\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Greek)) is a coastal village of the [Dio-Olympos municipality](/source/Dio-Olympos). Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of [East Olympos](/source/East_Olympos).[2] The settlement of Neoi Poroi had a population of 716 inhabitants as of 2021.[1] Neoi Poroi is a part of the community of [Poroi](/source/Poroi).[1] The main occupation in the village is tourism. A model development plan, has wide streets and squares.[3]

## Geography

The village is located on the southernmost coast of [Pieria](/source/Pieria_(regional_unit)), near the traditional village of "Παλαιοί Πόροι", *Paleoi Poroi* and the vast and scenic wetlands in the northern part of [Pineios](/source/Pineios_(Thessaly)).

The village is served by a [railway station](/source/Neoi_Poroi_railway_station), with both Intercity trains and [Proastiakos](/source/Proastiakos_Thessaloniki) services to Thessaloniki.
