# Neil Robbins

**Neil James Robbins** (8 September 1929 – 6 December 2020) was an Australian [steeplechase](/source/Steeplechase_(athletics)) and [long-distance runner](/source/Long-distance_running).[1] He competed in the six-mile run at the [1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games](/source/Athletics_at_the_1954_British_Empire_and_Commonwealth_Games) and in the [3000 metres steeplechase at the 1956 Summer Olympics](/source/Athletics_at_the_1956_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Men's_3000_metres_steeplechase).[2]
