# Neil Pinner

**Neil Douglas Pinner** (born 28 September 1990) is an English [cricketer](/source/Cricket). Pinner is a right-handed [batsman](/source/Batsman_(cricket)) who bowls right-arm [off break](/source/Off_break). He was born in [Wordsley](/source/Wordsley), [Worcestershire](/source/Worcestershire) and educated at the [Royal Grammar School Worcester](/source/Royal_Grammar_School_Worcester).[1]

Having played for the Worcestershire Second XI since 2008,[2] Pinner made his full debut for [Worcestershire](/source/Worcestershire_County_Cricket_Club) in a [List A](/source/List_A_cricket) match against [Middlesex](/source/Middlesex_County_Cricket_Club) in the [2011 Clydesdale Bank 40](/source/2011_Clydesdale_Bank_40). He made eight further appearances in that competition,[3] scoring a total of 122 runs at an [average](/source/Batting_average_(cricket)) of 13.55, with a high score of 37.[4] He also made a single [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) appearance in the [2011 County Championship](/source/2011_County_Championship) against [Nottinghamshire](/source/Nottinghamshire_County_Cricket_Club).[5] He batted once in the match and was dismissed for a [duck](/source/Duck_(cricket)) by [Charlie Shreck](/source/Charlie_Shreck).[6]

At the end of the 2015 season, Leicestershire announced that they would not be renewing Pinner's contract.[7]
