# National Order of Chad

The **National Order of Chad** is the preeminent [order of merit](/source/Order_(honour)) of the [Republic of Chad](/source/Republic_of_Chad). It is also featured on the [Coat of arms of Chad](/source/Coat_of_arms_of_Chad). The Grand Master of the order is the [President of Chad](/source/President_of_Chad).[1]
