Location Leicestershire Grid reference SP 549 978[1] Interest Biological Area 8.5 hectares[1] Notification 1983[1] Location map Magic Map **Narborough Bog** is an 8.5-hectare (21-acre) biological [Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) east of [Narborough](/source/Narborough%2C_Leicestershire) in [Leicestershire](/source/Leicestershire).[1][2] It is owned and managed by the [Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust](/source/Leicestershire_and_Rutland_Wildlife_Trust).[3] This site has a large area of [common reed](/source/Common_reed) on peat, and there is also [wet woodland](/source/Wet_woodland), dominated by [crack willow](/source/Crack_willow). Natural England's citation for the site states that it is 'exceptionally rich' in species of butterflies and moths, including several locally uncommon species.
