**Naraq** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): نراق)[a] is a city in the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Delijan_County)) of [Delijan County](/source/Delijan_County), [Markazi](/source/Markazi_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).[4]

Naraq is an old city, with 130 historical buildings and sites. [Chal-nakhjir cave](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chal-nakhjir_cave&action=edit&redlink=1) or Delijan Cave, is one of the natural touristic attractions of Delijan.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]

## Demographics

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,508 in 826 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,744 people in 865 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,592 people in 872 households.[2]

## Notable people

[Mulla Ahmad Naraghi](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mulla_Ahmad_Naraghi&action=edit&redlink=1) is one of the well-known clerics in Naraq.[*[citation needed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)*]
