==Geography==
The island is {{convert|2.4|km}} long and {{convert|1.7|km}} wide. It is located roughly {{convert|30|km|0|abbr=on}} to the southwest of the Maw Yon headland in the Rakhine coast.<ref>[GoogleEarth](/source/GoogleEarth)</ref>

Nantha Kyun rises to a height of {{convert|168|m}} and has a large active [mud volcano](/source/mud_volcano) in the middle. == Kyun Nantha Marine National Park ==
The [Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation](/source/Ministry_of_Natural_Resources_and_Environmental_Conservation) designated 23,000 acres (comprising 781 acres of land and 22,219 acres of water) in [Gwa Township](/source/Gwa_Township), [Thandwe District](/source/Thandwe_District), Rakhine State, as the "Kyun Nantha Marine National Park" for [biodiversity conservation](/source/biodiversity_conservation).
