**Nakhjirvan** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): نخجيروان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, [Baqerabad Rural District](/source/Baqerabad_Rural_District_(Mahallat_County)) of the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Mahallat_County)) of [Mahallat County](/source/Mahallat_County), [Markazi](/source/Markazi_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of [Baqerabad](/source/Baqerabad%2C_Mahallat).[5]

## Demographics

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 842 in 240 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 964 people in 300 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 848 people in 276 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
